How does my show get to me?

We use multiple carriers to offer the best possible rates to your location. Here is a brief outline of how these may get to you:

Why are there no prices listed on the website?
We provide both wholesale and hand-picked show sales of the best in 14+ different lines of premium fireworks. As a courtesy to our wholesale customers we do not post our prices. We will provide a detailed quote for case lot items. If you are considering choosing individual pieces for delivery, not purchasing by the case, we do not offer that. We do offer an amazing selection of hand-picked shows on this site.

Does Cargo Fireworks put together custom shows?
Yes!! We love to - it is our specialty!! By answering few simple questions, we can provide you with the best quality fireworks show you have ever had for your money!! What is a "Novelty & Ground Effect" item?
These are items that do not move on the ground, fly into the air, or bang. These items display their show while on the ground. These items can only crackle or whistle when they are displaying their show. Fountains (we have hundreds!), fun snaps, party poppers, sparklers, etc... are all a part of this category.

What are "Aerials, Cakes, Racks, and Mortars"?
These are all the items that leave the ground or propel the show high into the air. Rockets, reloadables (mortars), 200 gram -- 500 gram cakes, single shot tubes, and up to 4" racks (9 on a board) all fall into this category. There are special federal shipping regulations for these.

What are the special shipping regulations for Aerials, Cakes, Racks, and Mortars?
Simply put, these are all considered 1.4g explosives (Hazmat) -- we ship all of them via freight. Although 1.4g, Class C consumer fireworks are all safe and inert unless direct flame is put on them, the DOT requires these to be shipped as an Explosive Hazardous Material. This does increase the shipping costs greatly. We highly recommend a "group buy" or a quantity of $500 or more in order to make this an effective purchase for you. If you have someone in our area, they can also pick it up for you at our main warehouse in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin.

What is a "Group Buy"?
A group buy is a way to save money for several people. If you can get multiple people to purchase at the same time, we can send it to a location for one shipping charge. This allows for the freight to be divided on your end and provides multiple parties with the best fireworks available! This is also available for wholesale quantities -- please contact us for more information regarding wholesale rates.

Are Consumer grade fireworks legal where I live?
Maybe! There is always a grey area in the laws regarding Consumer, Class C, Fireworks in that some municipalities are stricter than the state laws provide. If you have doubts or questions we strongly encourage you to check with your local fire chief or police/public safety facility and they will let you know what is allowed in your area. Most states allow all ground items & novelties as long as you do not infringe on any local noise ordinances. Some states are completely open for Consumer Class C Fireworks, and other do not allow for the use of any Class C Fireworks. In most cases, if you are having a family get-together or are hosting an event, they will issue a permit for that event (typically for a small fee of about $5-$25). Since the laws are different everywhere, you will have to use your best judgment! We always encourage the use of safety and following of the local laws.
